John, the runoff is this Tuesday, June 18th!

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign and the work I have done as the commissioner of Super District 6. With your help, we are building a better future for DeKalb County.

As this is the last week for early voting, I am meeting with voters and sharing my vision for the future of our county. I am also highlighting other candidates for people to elect to help me implement this vision—candidates like Lance Hammonds. Lance has experience on the East Lake Family YMCA's Board, on the DeKalb County Transit Master Plan Committee, and he was the previous President of our chapter of the NAACP.

Lance is running in a close election and needs our help. Will you split a donation today between my campaign and Lance’s to help turn out voters and win this race?

Me and Lance

According to Georgia law, we have runoffs whenever a candidate doesn’t get 50% of the vote. Not only does this system ensure less people get involved in elections, but it is built on a history of minimizing the power of Black voters and other voters of color.

That is why we organize and tell every voter that there’s power in their vote. Today is the last day to early vote and the runoff is this Tuesday. Together, our voting power can overcome this historical barrier.

Tell everyone you know to go out and vote in this runoff if they want a future where our solutions are based in the realities of our communities. As you are making your plans to vote, would you split a donation between me and Lance’s campaign so we can work together for DeKalb’s future?

Thank you,

Ted Terry
