Residential centres for children and young people - expressions of interest sought from Youth Workers

I'm contacting you to alert you to the latest communication from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) seeking expressions of interest from Youth Workers for temporary deployment to residential centres ([link removed][UNIQID]) for children and young people.

It highlights that one of the critical impacts arising from Covid-19 on vulnerable young people is the staffing shortages being experienced in children’s residential centres. These essential services are necessary to provide care and support to young people in home-based environments.

In response, as the parent department with responsibility for both Tusla and the youth sector DCYA is seeking expressions of interest from Youth Workers for temporary deployment to residential centres for children and young people. ([link removed][UNIQID])
