It’s not just the drop in donations that concern us. We rely on grassroots donations from emails just like this one to fund Mikie’s reelection campaign and defend her against right-wing attacks, but we’re pacing way behind our goal. Here’s what our internal tracker shows right now:

Election cycles are full of highs and lows, but this fundraising slump couldn’t happen at a worse time.

Now that the primary election has passed and Mikie has an official MAGA insurrectionist opponent, national Republicans could view any signs of weakness in our campaign as a green light to begin spending in NJ-11 — and there’s no doubt they have the resources to do it.

That’s why we need to turn things around before tomorrow’s mid-month deadline. If we can get our fundraising back on pace, we’ll have the resources to focus on reelecting Mikie, defending New Jersey, and flipping the House blue — not hitting back at GOP attack ads.
