Western District of Louisiana Chief Judge Terry Doughty shot down Biden’s bid to force women to compete against men by citing the actual law. Title XI, Biden’s weapon of choice, had been explictly created to protect the rights of women. That’s why some ‘feminists’ had been arguing for getting rid of it. |

The Federalist - June 14, 2024 |
The State Department is refusing to say whether it is communicating with Big Tech platforms to censor free speech online leading up to the 2024 election.
The agency’s silence on the matter came after The Federalist asked about a new working group launched by the United States and Poland on Monday that seeks to counter Russian “disinformation” about Moscow’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Called the “Ukraine Communications Group (UCG),” the body will involve the two aforementioned countries and representatives from NATO states, and work to “coordinate messaging, promote accurate reporting of Russia’s full-scale invasion, amplify Ukrainian voices, and expose Kremlin information manipulation.”

Daily Caller News Foundation - June 14, 2024 | The director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) claimed that the agency had no time to advise Alaska of a significant reversal of policy during a Thursday hearing.
BLM Director Tracy Stone-Manning made the assertion during a Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing while being grilled by Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska over multiple restrictions on energy and mining projects which drew fire from Native American groups in the state and Democratic Rep. Mary Peltola of Alaska. Murkowski told Stone-Manning that the restrictions, including a reversal of the Ambler Access Project, which would have made a copper mine viable, felt “like an onslaught.” (RELATED: Biden EPA To Block Construction Of Massive Gold Mine In Alaska)

The good news: Thanks to God’s underrated sense of irony, President Joe Biden’s administration’s ludicrous plan to build a pier in Gaza without putting U.S. boots on the ground in order to deliver aid that absolutely, positively wouldn’t be stolen by Hamas has been, for the moment, foiled by the unseen element of bad weather that happens every year in the Mediterranean. More’s the pity.
The bad news: Apparently, “devout Catholic” Joe Biden can’t take a divine hint and the American taxpayer will be on the hook for at least another $22 million to fix the thing so Hamas can restart stealing … erm, I mean, borrowing aid. |

Daily Caller News Foundation - June 14, 2024 |
California raised the minimum wage of the state’s fast-food workers to $20 per hour on April 1. It wasn’t a silly April Fools joke, and no one was laughing because the law’s devastating effects on restaurants and workers are as bad as its critics predicted. |
