Friends,
As I travel and campaign across Northern Michigan and the UP, I want to express my gratitude to the amazing volunteers participating in a fantastic program that keeps our district vibrant and clean. Thank you to all who participate in Michigan's Adopt a Highway program. Clean air, land, and water are at the forefront of our campaign.
I need your help getting Congress to clean up and reform other systems, too.
For example, our healthcare system is a mess. A single-payer system will streamline medicine and save taxpayers $500 billion a year. And, friends, I'm the only candidate in the race with experience in implementing solutions. We're fighting for universal healthcare without the junk — no co-pays, no deductibles, no premiums — just quality healthcare for everyone.
Speaking of waste, my Trump-endorsed opponent, Rep. Jack Bergman, who's on a committee that oversees military spending, wasted nearly $1 trillion of taxpayer funds by allowing private contractors to price-gouge the DOD.
Bergman may claim he's fiscally responsible, but he's also the highest House waster of lodging and meal reimbursements, footing the bill to us, the American taxpayer.
Together, we're working to clean things up and bring dignity and integrity back to Congress for Michigan's 1st District. Join our fight.
Onward,
-Bob
