Convicted felon and former president Donald Trump is visiting Michigan just weeks after he was found guilty on 34 felony counts. Trump knows that he can’t win the presidency without Michigan, which is why he’s bringing his far-right, extremist campaign to our state again. The last time Trump visited Michigan, he lied and spewed more bull sh*t to rally his base of MAGA extremists. It’s clear that he will say anything to sway voters to his side, no matter how outlandish, false, or ridiculous it is.
Whenever Trump visits Michigan, he not only tries to divide us further, but he rakes in serious donations from his base of extremists. Those donations translate to more text messages, digital ads, and TV advertisements from the Trump campaign targeted directly at swing voters in Michigan.
If we don’t reach these swing voters with our own message and the facts, then we risk losing those voters to Trump and seeing him in the White House for another four years.
