We know we've been reaching out a lot lately — especially with our June FEC fundraising deadline just around the corner — and that you probably have a lot more on your mind than Ilhan's monthly fundraising goals.

We completely understand that, and our hope is that you don't take these emails as an annoyance, but a sign of just how important grassroots support is to our movement.

The simple truth is that all the texts and emails like this one that we send drive the overwhelming majority — over 99% — of donations to this campaign. So yes, we send a good number of them, and that's why.

You see, unlike many of her colleagues in Congress, Ilhan doesn't spend her time chasing checks from corporate lobbyists.

She doesn't rub elbows with billionaires at black-tie fundraising dinners, either.

Never has, never will. That's because she has us, Aqib.

And it's because of the way we're funding this campaign that from time to time, we have to ask. And today is one of those days. So please:
