BREAKING NEWS: Supreme Court upholds abortion pill access — for now

But the fight for our rights goes on. And we need you with us. [[link removed]]

DONATE [[link removed]]The Supreme Court just issued a ruling in FDA v. Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine , rejecting a baseless attempt to overturn the FDA’s approval of mifepristone, one of the two drugs most commonly used for medicated abortion.

But the fact that this meritless case got so far in the first place shows just how determined the far right is to rip away our freedoms. And the Court ruled on a procedural issue, not the substance — potentially leaving the door open to future challenges. Think of it as a yellow light, not a red light.

Clearly, the onslaught of attacks on our rights is far from over.

Right-wing extremists are trying everything they can to undermine our progress — and we must be ready for the fight ahead. With the Court’s decision today, radical attorneys will keep turning to the states to try to dismantle our democracy and our freedoms.

That’s why we’re partnering with Planned Parenthood Votes to invest in state supreme court races and create a line of defense as more attacks on reproductive freedom and fair maps come down the pike.

Rush an urgent gift to the NDRC today to help protect democracy and reproductive rights in 2024 and beyond >> [[link removed]]
