Democratic governors across the country have taken critical steps to safeguard abortion:

• Govs. Healey, Hochul, Kotek, Inslee and Newsom were among those who established stockpiles of abortion medications to ensure their citizens can access the care they need.
• Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs signed a bill into law officially repealing the state’s 1864 abortion ban.
• DGA Chair Gov. Tim Walz, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, and Gov. Kathy Hochul have all signed legislation to codify abortion rights into state law.
• And the Biden administration and Dem govs across the country have even taken action to support women’s ability to travel across state lines for medical care.
