We are five days away from the June 18 primary. Tomorrow -- Saturday, June 15 -- is your last day to vote early in-person.
I’m encouraged by the outpouring of support on the ground here in the district with thousands of fired up voters attending my campaign rallies. They’re fired up and fed up with the untruthful tv ads, radio ads and text messages meant to distort the truth and steal this seat from you.
You know your Congressman, and you know what I stand for. I’ve spent my two terms in Congress fighting to stop wasteful spending and secure our borders. I haven’t voted to send money to secure the borders of other countries, because I believe we should secure our borders FIRST. I voted against funding for globalist organizations like the WHO and other foreign programs, while our own military is lacking what it needs to remain the world's most lethal and effective fighting machine.
In our own communities we are seeing violent crimes committed by illegal aliens. Just a few months ago, I sent you an email alert about an illegal in Campbell County who had raped a minor. This followed a series of news stories from other places in our district where similar crimes were being committed. Our open borders don’t just affect places like Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Open borders are hurting us here at home.
While I have been fighting to fund securing our borders, my opponent has been voting to fund tuition in Virginia colleges and universities for illegals with your tax dollars. This should make you furious. While Virginia families are struggling to buy groceries and fill their cars with gas, my opponent is giving away financial incentives to those who cheated the system to get here. I will NEVER fund programs that incentivize the border invasion.
I have been on the forefront of defending the American people from the failed policies of the Democrats. Here is a list of bills I sponsored or supported:
H.R. 398, No Asylum for Criminals Act
This bill would codify and strengthen Trump Administration asylum reforms by disqualifying criminals from eligibility.
H.R. 991, Preserving Safety Net Integrity Act
This bill would codify Trump policies that ensure immigrants demonstrate self-sufficiency.
H.R.4199, No Taxpayer Funding for the Central American Minors
This bill would codify Trump policies blocking taxpayer funding for an Obama/Biden chain-migration program.
H.R. 7024, Every Town A Border Town Act
This bill would declare MS-13 a foreign terrorist organization.
H.R.6628, Close Biden’s Open Border Act
This legislation would finish construction of Trump’s border wall and pay for it by cutting off UN funding.
