Nottingham Craft Beer Festival

The Nottingham Craft Beer Festival kicks off at Sneinton Market Avenues today, showcasing the finest craft beer produced locally, nationally, and beyond.
Over 40 breweries will be in attendance, including DEYA Brewing Company, Buxton Brewery, Bang The Elephant, Black Iris, Castle Rock, and Neon Raptor. Street food will be on offer from a range of food trucks, curated by the site residents Bustler, plus you can enjoy live music and DJs.

Wise Owl Theatre bring the high-spirited and downright ludicrous tale of Mr Toad to the stage. With Toad Hall under threat from the sly Vin Weasel, Toad's insatiable need for speed could land him in serious trouble!
The story is based on Kenneth Grahame’s Wind in the Willows and includes appearances from the story’s exquisitely drawn characters including Badger, Ratty and Mole. A show filled with love, laughter and heart-warming lessons in friendship, Mr Toad is the perfect family treat.
Sound at Central: Black British Ballet

Nottingham Central Library has partnered with Fabric Dance for this month's Sound at Central event.
Special guests Black British Ballet will showcase their touring show, Island Movements. The line-up also includes genre-blurring jazz quartet The Jazz Bastrds, DJ Bradley Jam and DJ Hemulen of Notts favourite Jamcafe, and more artists to be announced soon.

Nottingham Poetry Festival

Don't miss the final few days of the Nottingham Poetry Festival. This weekend there are creative workshops, poetry battles, panel talks, and even a world-record attempt!
On Saturday, the festival will attempt to break the record for the longest street poem in the world. Watch as the words are written in chalk outside Nottingham Central Library, filling Nottingham's streets with poetry.
Eid in the Park

Eid in the Park celebrates the end of the month-long fasting during Ramadan, and brings communities together at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park.
There will be stalls, music and entertainment, including performances by students from the Nottingham Asian Arts Council Music and Dance Academy.
