The Supreme Court just ruled to allow Mifepristone, a safe, effective abortion care drug, to remain available to the American people.

This is great news.

While I’m relieved at this decision, it underscores the relentless attacks against reproductive health care since the Dobbs decision two years ago. Extremists like David Schwikert won’t stop their attacks on reproductive freedoms here. We need to flip the House this November and codify abortion rights before it’s too late.

This case was yet another calculated attack on abortion access that only made it as far as the Supreme Court because of the Dobbs Decision, which overturned Roe v Wade and put millions of women's lives in danger.

That decision is a big part of why I decided to run for office, and it’s why we must continue fighting to protect abortion access in the US. We know that anti-abortion extremists won’t stop here, just like they didn’t stop with Dobbs. They’ll keep pushing to strip away access to reproductive health care across the country.

For years, David Schweikert has been trying to make abortions more dangerous and harder to access by attempting to outlaw contraceptives and safe medicine like Mifepristone. We need to replace him with a pro-choice champion like me this November.
