Yes, I just won the Republican nomination for Senate here in Nevada, but there’s something even more personally important happening today. It’s my wife Amy’s birthday!

Amy and the kids have stood by me 100% on this campaign, and it hasn’t been easy. I love Amy with all my heart and I want to include you in on a BIG surprise.

Amy and I met when we were both in the Army. I was in the burn ward, overcoming severe injuries I received in Afghanistan. Back then I could never have imagined she would become my wife, the mother to my kids, my teammate.

Everything I do is for my family. But Amy is our family’s backbone and my secret weapon. I’m so thankful for her and I hope you can help me show that appreciation today.
