We don’t normally think Fox News is a trusted source for very much, but they do help us get some perspective on what the MAGA political sphere is thinking about these days — especially when it comes to Pat’s opponents.

So when we saw this headline, we knew we had to read more. 👇

Here’s a quick summary:

• According to GOP insiders, Elise Stefanik has built herself a reputation of being a “powerhouse” of the MAGA movement. A Republican strategist said that “she's done a very effective job at elevating her profile, which is hard to do.”
   
• Ok, but what does that mean? According to a Democratic insider, it’s because “she is willing to say and do anything to defend Donald Trump, no matter how absurd, ridiculous or embarrassing it may be.”
   
• We all know Trump loves flattery, and his close allies are quick to shower him with praise. So what makes her special? Two GOP strategists put it simply. [Stefanik is] “a prolific fundraiser.” “She’d be attractive to some of the large donor blocks in terms of how much they invest.”

That’s no surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention. Aside from winning Trump’s VP pick, Stefanik’s top priority has been flipping Pat’s seat — and she’s committed unparalleled resources to get the job done.

Stefanik is obsessed with getting Pat out of Congress. From pouring $30,000 into the campaign coffers of Pat’s GOP opponent to bullying the Republican Party into spending up to $100 million in New York this election cycle, it’s terrifying to imagine that we might be staring down an even bigger avalanche of cash if Stefanik gets Trump’s VP nod and gains access to his top donors.
