This is a step in the right direction, John. But two years ago, the court’s conservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade, stripping away the right to abortion for millions of Americans.
And now, a total of 21 states have a ban on abortion, or have dangerous restrictions in place blocking access to reproductive care. We can’t wait on the courts to fix this. We need more Democratic women in state legislatures to defend and expand access to abortion – NOW.
