With Father’s Day coming up this Sunday, we wanted to share with you a bit about what makes our dad so special to us.
Growing up with a dad in politics is different from most, but as he always says, being “dad” will always come first.
We’ve laughed, cried, overcome challenges, and made incredible memories – but most importantly, we’ve done it as a team.
All of our lives, our dad has taught us:be true to your word, work hard, never give up, and always do the right thing even when no one is watching.
But, he hasn’t just taught us these values. We’ve seen him live them out every single day, and he’s shown Georgians the man he really is over the past 5+ years as governor.
Whether it’s been his hard work to grow jobs, improve education, and keep Georgia safe – our dad has always come through and made an incredible impact on the lives of every Georgian.
We couldn’t be more proud of our dad and everything he’s done both for our country and for our family.
While Georgia is the #1 state to do business, we lucked out with the #1 Dad! Thank you for all you do for this state, but even more for our family.

More than 35 years ago, I started my first business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel.
Since taking office as Governor of Georgia in 2019, I’ve put hardworking Georgians and their families first!
We’ve championed legislation to cut taxes for working families, crack down on crime, end human trafficking, reform foster care and adoption, and support our students and educators.
When Georgia became the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made sure we protected both lives and livelihoods. As a result, we’ve seen historic economic investment, and we’ve continued to lead the way in creating opportunities at every corner of the state.
And we’re not stopping there!
Marty, the girls, and I are working hard to ensure Georgia’s best days are ahead of us.
