This legislation aimed to curb the criminalization of in vitro fertilization by establishing a federal right to IVF, and also lower costs for millions of Americans who use IVF to build their families.

But when it came time to vote, Senate Republicans blocked The Right to IVF Act.

Once again, Senate Republicans have prevented legislation that would protect reproductive freedom from moving forward — just last week, it was a bill to protect access to contraception and birth control.

As the Republican Party continues to ignore the majority of Americans by swatting down popular pieces of legislation and pursuing dangerous restrictions against our most personal freedoms and liberties, we must band together and do everything we can to prevent a GOP takeover in the Senate.
