One thing you need to know about Dr. Ruiz is that he was born and raised in the Coachella Valley and moved back to serve his community after he became a doctor. In a recent interview with the Coachella Valley Independent, Dr. Ruiz’s opponent said that he thinks one of the biggest issues facing the people of CA-25 is the “radical ideology being pushed” on them.

Now, we’re not sure exactly what he means by that, but if we had to guess? He’s talking about the fact that Dr. Ruiz and House Democrats are fighting harder than ever for women’s rights, reproductive freedom, and LGBTQ+ rights.
