Imagine this, Samuel:

For the last six months, you've outright refused to meet one of the
most important responsibilities of your job. Your contract is up in a
few weeks and, instead of showing you the door, you're expecting
your bosses to renew it for another six years.

Sounds ludicrous, right? But that's exactly what Senate Republicans
are expecting to happen in November.

There have been 174 days since President Obama nominated Chief
Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. The President did his
constitutional duty. Republicans refuse to do theirs. Even by the
standards of a Republican Senate that has done nothing but obstruct
the President's agenda, this is a new low.

We have a chance to show Republicans that their inaction has
consequences. We can beat obstructionist senators like Chuck Grassley,
Marco Rubio, John McCain, Ron Johnson, and Rob Portman to win a
Democratic majority -- and give our next president a working Senate.
