Words of encouragement do so much to keep us going in difficult times.
Here's an email we received last week...

I want to let you know how timely your podcast with the two surgeons
was, and how much it helped me. I listened last night - the night
before my surgery was originally scheduled. After much thought and
some research, I called them to cancel it 3 weeks ago due to the
coronavirus, the risk to my 91-year-old mother and myself, and the
needs of the hospital.

I was very relieved to hear your plastic surgeon address the exact
questions I have in my mind, reassured that I made the right decision.
Thank you for that informative talk. It does help to know I am not
forgotten. Wishing us all wisdom and patience as we fight this
difficulty together. - Pamela A. Mendelsohn, Boynton Beach, FL

This is an extraordinary time for breast cancer patients as their
challenges are made more urgent by a crisis that changes treatment
plans, delays therapies or surgeries, and places even greater risk on
their lives. Now, more than ever, people are relying on
Breastcancer.org, grappling with urgent, complex questions, and
seeking support from each other while stuck at home, often isolated.

If you are able, we greatly appreciate any and all donations to our
COVID-19 RAPID RESPONSE FUND to support our emergency coverage of the
COVID-19 pandemic and the programs and services our community relies
on every day.

Our podcast program is one of the many ways we help people like
Pamela make sense of the complex and quickly evolving information
needed to make the best decisions to protect their health. The
Breastcancer.org Podcast, hosted by senior editor Jamie DePolo,
features in-depth discussions with experts in the field, patients and
patient advocates, caregivers and more.

Your donation to our COVID-19 RAPID RESPONSE FUND helps to support our
podcast program and allow us to provide expanded resources to everyone
who needs our help right now.

We are so grateful for your generosity!
