Dear Friends,
This week, I was honored to be endorsed by Maggie’s List, a political action committee dedicated to electing fiscally conservative women to office. Being a woman in politics is not easy, but being a conservative woman is really hard. However, I’ll always stand with you and fight for you against the Washington insiders.
Warmest wishes,
Victoria
P.S. See excerpts of the Maggie’s List’s press release below:
“We are pleased to endorse Victoria Spartz for Congress in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District,” said Maggie’s List Founder and Chair, Sandra Mortham. “Victoria is a true champion for the Maggie’s List values of strong national security, fiscal responsibility and limited government. A natural leader, we are proud to support her re-election effort and are grateful for her willingness to serve,“ Mortham continued.
In an era of politicians with sound bites, Congresswoman Spartz is a policy leader who is already made a legislative difference even in her first two terms—12 bills signed into law and many policies developed from scratch. She is also known for her work holding the Biden Administration accountable.
She has been named Commissioner to the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (known as the Helsinki Commission). She serves on the Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust, as well as the Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement.
Lowering health care costs have also been a large part of her policy agenda. She received the “Champion of Healthcare Innovation” award from the Healthcare Leadership Council and helped pass HR 5378 Lower Cost, More Transparency Act.
Her other accomplishments include working to reduce dependencies on China and increase transparency into the Chinese publicly traded companies and enhancing border security (H.R.2) and designate cartels as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
