Dear John,
Over three quarters of Britons want the UK to work with Europe to fight coronavirus.
77% of people want the government to participate in EU schemes to bulk-buy PPE.
New pollingby Best for Britain shows the vast majority of the public think we should co-operate with the EU to ensure our NHS has the life-saving equipment it needs.
We launched a campaign over a month ago calling for the government to work with the EU to save lives. We recognised how important EU joint procurement of medical supplies would be. And today, our polling made headlines in the Independent.
We can make a difference. We can change people’s minds. Sign our petition if you want to be part of that change.

It is clear we don’t have sufficient equipment to protect those on the front-line of this fight against coronavirus. We owe it to those currently risking their lives to do everything in our power to secure PPE.
That means remaining part of the European Medicines Agency, and any other schemes which will help us save lives.
This issue is about more than politics: it’s just common sense.
Nearly two thirds of 2019 Conservative voters agreed we must work with Europe, as well as 57 per cent of those who voted Leave in the 2016 EU referendum.
Sign our petition and join the thousands who have already called for better protection for our heroes in the NHS.

This data shows your voices have been heard. Our representatives will be taking notice of this widespread support of international co-operation.
People everywhere are waking up to the importance of working with the world.
Best wishes,
Naomi Smith
