Hi John – John Walsh here. 

With less than two weeks until the June Primary, I’m grateful to earn the endorsements of five key labor groups here in Colorado – the Denver Area Labor Federation/AFL-CIO, the American Postal Workers Union Denver Local 229, SMART Sheet Metal Workers Local #9, Communications Workers of America (CWA) CO/WY State(s) Council, and the Pipefitters Local 208. 

In all, these five labor organizations represent more than 170,000 Denver workers and are committed to ensuring that their rights are being protected in our city’s justice system. That’s why I am incredibly honored to be supported by these organizations. 

Throughout this campaign, I’ve had the privilege to sit down and talk with some of Denver’s top labor leaders and members. Together, we have a shared commitment to protecting workers' rights and identifying opportunities for re-entry for those who have been involved with the criminal justice system.
