WEBINAR: FOUNDATION FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT CONVERSATION SERIES
Cutting Child Poverty in Half and More: Pandemic-Era Lessons From Child and Family Advocates and Organizers

We invite you to join us on July 11th at 2 PM ET for the first webinar in the Foundation for Child Development’s Conversation Series exploring what it means to pursue social justice for young children marginalized by racism, xenophobia, and economic inequality.

This webinar will offer a real-world view of the triumphs and challenges faced by organizers and advocates in their fight for racial and immigrant justice, focusing on child and family advocacy. The discussion will feature panelists sharing insights from the recently published policy paper, Cutting Child Poverty in Half and More: Pandemic-Era Lessons From Child and Family Advocates and Organizers. Their contribution to child and family advocacy will form a crucial part of the conversation.

About Our Panel

The Foundation has a core commitment to children marginalized by racism, xenophobia, and economic inequality.

The webinar will explore the story behind the federal policy changes and the full variety of state responses, including some that have sustained progress and others that have rejected the chance to help children. It will bring a racial equity lens to the policies, the federal and state responses, and the parent and caregiver organizing and policy advocacy so central to change. Above all, the webinar will focus on the lessons for advocacy, organizing, and philanthropy that resonate for the panelists as they reflect on the past several years and their work today.

MEET OUR PANEL & REGISTER NOW

In the event you are unable to attend the live webinar scheduled for July 11th, a recording of the webinar will be made available to all registered attendees.
