There's something I want to ask you…
Do you believe we're right to focus on educating students rather than activism?
<[link removed]>
I want your thoughts because you're essential to our efforts.
YOU'RE THE REASON why our students finished the spring semester with studying,
finals, and commencement…
Rather than pro-terror protests, occupying campus buildings, setting up tent
encampments, or overwhelming police with violence.
YOU'RE THE REASON why our professors teach students about our country's great
heritage of liberty and the importance of Western Civilization to our liberties…
Rather than indoctrinating students with lies about America being a murderous
nation built on stolen land…let alone being arrested for joining these violent
mobs!
YOU'RE THE REASON why we can reach and teach millions of Americans nationwide
throughImprimis and free online courses while restoring excellence to K-12
education…
Rather than letting far-left propaganda take over our schools and culture with
the help of big-money progressive donors and taxpayer dollars.
When I see what is happening on other college and university campuses, I am so
grateful for your friendship and support.
You truly make our college a place that seeks to DEFEND LIBERTY rather than
OVERTHROW IT.
And because you're essential to our efforts here, there's a big favor I need
to ask of you…
It's the end of our fiscal year when we make plans for the coming academic
year—including our national educational outreach. That's where you come in…
After you let me know whether we're right to focus on EDUCATION and not
activism…
Can you please let me know where you think we should focus during the next
academic year? You can tell me using this secure link:

Our fiscal year ends on June 30…so I hope to hear from you before then.
Before I let you go, please give me just five seconds to remind you why our
work is so important and why we need YOU to help.
It's no secret that these campus radicals get their inspiration from the
student protestors of 1968…
Our country has changed a lot since then. And I would say—and I think you
agree—not for the better.
A big reason is that many of these radicals took over our education system…as
professors, administrators, and government bureaucrats.
Hillsdale is one of the only colleges in this country that hasn't fallen into
this madness.
We are one of the only colleges that teach young Americans—and millions of
people around this country—what makes our country the freest and most
prosperous nation in history.
And we do so without ONE PENNY of government funding…even indirectly in the
form of student grants or loans.
That's what YOU DO with your support.
So, thank you so much. I look forward to hearing from you.
Warm regards,
Bill Gray, ‘01
Vice President
Institutional Advancement
Hillsdale College
P.S. I have two quick questions for you today…
* Do you believe we're right to focus on educating students rather than
activism?
* Where should we focus our educational efforts in the coming school year?
Please let me know! It'll only take a moment of your time. And after you weigh
in, it would be such a blessing if you could help us with our fiscal year-end
fundraising campaign. Thanks in advance for your help. You can let me know your
thoughts at this secure link:
