CD 25 was a district that Democrats picked up in 2018 and became vacant after former-Rep. Katie Hill resigned last year.
There will be a special election to replace Hill on May 12 and Democratic Assemblywoman Christy Smith is running against a strong Republican candidate.
This is an absolutely must-win race. It is important not only because it will help maintain our majority in the U.S. House, but also because it will shape the narrative for the coming months about Trump's handling of the pandemic. We need all the help we can get.
