John, Today, SCOTUS allowed mifepristone, an FDA-approved drug used for abortions, to remain on the market. I am relieved that the justices of the Supreme Court allowed science and individual freedom to persevere instead of imposing an extremist agenda. Two years ago, when I found out the Supreme Court chose to ignore settled law and overturn Roe v. Wade, I immediately knew it would lead to a fight across the country to safeguard abortion rights. Today's decision is a massive win for reproductive freedom, and it is a reminder that a woman’s healthcare choices should be between herself and her doctor — not courts and politicians. The fight to secure access to this medication and other methods of abortion is far from over. I have no doubt anti-abortion activists will use this opportunity to further their cause and continue their fight to ban all abortion everywhere in the U.S. It's time to codify abortion rights once and for all. It's time for decisive action — and I need your support. Will you help us elect Democrats up and down the ballot who are committed to protecting and codifying abortion rights? Your donation will help ensure every woman has the right to make her own healthcare decisions.
