The Supreme Court – like, the WHOLE Supreme Court, like the SAME Supreme Court that overturned Roe v. Wade – just dropped their decision on the accessibility of the abortion pill mifepristone: the FDA regulations remain unchanged! This case was concocted by the pro-strife movement to totally ban or severely restrict access to the most common form of abortion care in the US, basically ushering in a nationwide seven-week abortion ban. AND THEY LOST!
SHORT VERSION: ABORTION PILLS ARE STILL LEGAL. STILL AVAILABLE UP TO 10 WEEKS. AND AVAILABLE THOUGH THE MAIL.
The justices found that the plaintiffs, a group of anti-abortion doctors (and a dentist??) trying to kill the pill, did not show that these petty-ass plaintiffs were not harmed by the expanded access to the medication.

The majority opinion basically listened to the evidence presented to the justices and respected the FDA’s authority to regulate drugs in the United States (like they were created to do). Surprisingly, ALL of the conservative judges sided with the liberals on this issue.
