Tarjimly provides free interpretation and translation to refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and those who serve them. Refugees and immigrants who don't speak English will encounter language barriers that can affect the services they receive. They are looking for lawyers who speak one of many needed languages. This is a remote project, and lawyers may be barred in any state.

Draft Investment Policy for Rare Disease Nonprofit ([link removed])
CACNA1A Foundation
The CACNA1A Foundation board would like to adopt an investment policy before it invests a portion of its cash in investment vehicles such as bonds, money market funds and other financial instruments. They need a lawyer to draft an investment policy that establishes investment objectives, policies, guidelines and eligible securities related to all assets held by the nonprofit. This is a remote project, and lawyers may be barred in any state.

Help to Get Debts Back for SSAAP-Zambia Project ([link removed])
Simwatachela Sustainable Agricultural and Arts Program [SSAAP]
In 2021, SSAAP hired a contractor to build 6 water wells and a security wall in Zambia. Only 2 of the wells have been completed, and SSAAP needs a lawyer to help get the payment returned to the project so that the beneficiaries of SSAAP can access clean water. This is a remote project, and lawyers may be barred in any state.

Decoding Developmental Epilepsies is a a small nonprofit focused on finding better care, treatments and quality of life for children with rare, complex genetic epilepsy disorders. They need a lawyer to review partnership documents with pharmaceutical partners to ensure they're fair and are not limiting the ability to function independently. This is a remote project, and lawyers may be barred in any state.
