 Y'all, it's clear Greg Abbott doesn't have our state's best interests at heart. Just take a look at what he had to say at the NRA convention just a few weeks ago:
After mass shootings have impacted so many families in Uvalde, El Paso, and elsewhere across our state, Greg Abbott should be doing everything in his power to end the gun violence epidemic plaguing our communities. Instead, he’s cozying up to gun extremists, cashing the NRA’s checks, and exacerbating the issue by refusing to take life-saving action. Enough is enough. It’s time we send a message to Greg Abbott that we won't stand by while he sits on his hands as more and more families are impacted by gun violence. We need to rise up in historic numbers to show him that we will elect a wave of Democrats who will combat his extremism, pass common-sense gun control measures, and build a safer Texas for our children.
