INSPECTOR GENERAL RICHARDSON SWORN IN
Cardell K. Richardson, Sr., was officially sworn in as Inspector General for the Department of State (Department) Office of Inspector General (OIG) on May 20. He stated, “I will continue to build on OIG’s highly professional environment that attracts and retains the most talented employees. I will also work to ensure that we remain an independent, objective organization that provides robust oversight, transparency, and accountability to the programs and operations of the agencies we oversee.”
