Rep. Bowman is the first African American Member of Congress to represent the 16th District of New York. His historic win in 2020 ushered in a new era of representation. Since taking office, Rep. Bowman has been a steadfast champion of human rights at home and abroad, especially in Palestine. It is because of his support for Palestinian human rights and a ceasefire in Gaza, that AIPAC aligned right-wing lobbying groups are pouring millions to defeat Rep. Bowman against George Latimer. Now, more than ever, we must stand united to defend leaders who fight for our shared values.
