Wyoming Dems State Convention
It was a clear case of quality over quanitity at the State Democratic Convention in Casper! We had a great time, made some new friends and are happy to report that Mike Yin and Maureen Barry were elected as delegates to the National Convention. Maureen will be Wyoming's representative to the national platform committee! Leslie Petersen was one of three selected as Presidential Electors .The 2024 Wyoming Democratic Party Platform was ratified and the State Central Committee met. All in all an eventful weekend.
The Election Block Party Was a Wild Success

Over 150 people gathered on the lawn at Snake River Brewing the evening of June 10th for the first-ever Election Block Party, so-sponsored by Shelter JH, Teton Dems and the Teton GOP. Attendees enjoyed music by Outta Shorts while mingling with candidates for local office and learning about changes to election procedures Notary publics were present to help new voters register and 20 people took advantage of this opportunity.
Early and Absentee Voting for the primary and the general will now be available 28 days in advance instead of 45. IF YOU DID NOT VOTE IN THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTION YOU MUST RE-REGISTER. 28% OF WYOMING VOTERS WERE PURGED FROM THE ROLLS.
