Large sections of a 2023 Florida law protecting minors from gender transition procedures were declared unconstitutional on Tuesday. In a 105-page decision (Doe v. Lapado), Federal Judge Robert Hinkle of the Northern District of Florida issued a wide-angle, permanent injunction against the law, replacing an earlier preliminary injunction that applied only to a handful of individuals. |

With election day less than five months away, Democrats are gearing up to smear Trump's running mate - whoever that may be - as an extremist. In an interview earlier this week, incumbent Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris made it clear that it didn't really matter who former President Donald Trump picks as his running mate: Democrats plan to label anyone tied to Trump as an extremist. Politico noted that Harris didn't discuss the individuals Trump has teased as potential running mates but instead focused on "just how little daylight Democrats are going to leave between Trump and whomever he picks as his No. 2." |

The Show-Me State is taking the nation's largest abortion business to court. On Monday, a hearing took place to determine whether a lawsuit filed by Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey (R) against Planned Parenthood Great Plains could proceed. Bailey filed suit against Planned Parenthood in February, alleging that the organization was trafficking minors across state lines to obtain abortions without parental consent. |
