Pride Month is an occasion to celebrate the vibrant, tenacious, and joyous spirit of LGBTQIA+ communities worldwide. This Pride Month, Urgent Action Fund for Feminist Activism joins the chorus of celebration for feminist LGBTQIA+ activists on the frontlines, confronting discrimination and building a more just future for us all. Their defiance is an act of joy and a testament to the power, strength, and diversity of feminist movements.
At Urgent Action Fund, we take immense pride in our 25+ year legacy of supporting grassroots LGBTQIA+ activists at the forefront of societal change, democratization, and progress. Through their tireless efforts, they are:
* Championing LGBTQIA+ rights through grassroots organizing, advocacy, and legal challenges.
* Building practices of collective care and healing justice into their activism, creating safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community.
* Dismantling patriarchal and heteronormative structures to promote gender justice.
* At the forefront of social justice movements employing intersectional solutions to intersecting crises.
