I've always been about action, John. It's why I loved playing football and why I loved being a police officer. I was able to actually do something to protect others.

And if running for office taught me anything, it's that you don't have to have "Congressperson" in front of your name to make an impact.

So I'm teaming up with elected officials, candidates, local leaders and most importantly – grassroots supporters – to protect and defend our democracy. And we need to get straight to work.
