TAKE ACTION: SCOTUS DECISION EXPECTED

We cannot allow the ultra-conservative majority on the Supreme Court to interfere with our Constitutional rights and freedoms. Please, add your name immediately – this is urgent. [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]

John,

57 years ago, the United States Supreme Court made a landmark decision in Loving v. Virginia , which struck down laws banning interracial marriage and paved the way for several major advancements in civil rights.

Having been raised in a multicultural home with an African-American father and a Korean mother, this decision made a huge impact on my life.

Almost six decades later, we face new challenges to our most basic rights.

The ultra-conservative majority on the Supreme Court has embraced an extremist agenda aimed at rolling back many of our hard-fought rights and freedoms.

In the next week or so, we expect the Supreme Court to issue decisions in a number of cases that will have wide reaching effects on our nation – including an important reproductive healthcare case which could end access to abortion medication.

I am committed to doing whatever it takes to protect and safeguard the fundamental rights and freedoms that define our country, which is why I’m asking you to sign this petition today.ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]

You elected me to defend our values – and that’s what I intend to do.

Please, take action and add your name today.

– Marilyn
