I’m honored to be reaching out to you today after being unanimously elected President of the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association this past weekend. As you know, I took over as Interim President in January of this year – and I am grateful for the trust our members have in me to lead our organization for the next 2 years.
Now that I’ve been officially elected, one of the most important aspects of my job is ensuring we have the resources to carry out all of our plans for November – and that’s where I need you. Can you help celebrate my election by investing in IDCCA right now? [[link removed]]

Kane
County
was
once
considered
a
Republican
stronghold.
Working
with
a
coalition
of
different
groups,
we
got
back
to
the
basics
of
voter
contact.
Knocking
on
doors,
going
to
parades,
talking
to
voters,
and
showing
that
the
Democratic
Party
is
growing.
It
didn’t
happen
overnight
but
now
the
Kane
County
Republican
Party
is
almost
nonexistent.
I
want
to
take
this
plan
statewide
to
help
all
of
our
counties
build
stronger
County
Parties
like
we
did
in
Kane
County.
*
We
will
make
sure
that
Joe
Biden
gets
re-elected.
*
We
will
help
Democrats
retake
control
of
Congress,
which
starts
by
sending
back
all
Democratic
members
of
the
Illinois
Congressional
Delegation.
*
And
we
must
return
the
supermajorities
to
Springfield
for
Speaker
Welch
and
President
Harmon
to
continue
supporting
Governor
JB
Pritzker’s
agenda.
As you know, electing Democrats up and down the ballot – especially in places considered Republican strongholds – is difficult and expensive. That said, I am confident that I have the experience we need to be victorious – because I’ve already transformed the formerly Republican stronghold of Kane County into a reliably blue County.
