James,
Our Revolution is proud to invite you to a Special Event to support
Jonathan Tasini - our endorsed candidate for the Portland, Oregon City
Council - TOMORROW, June 13th, at 5:30pm ET!
Jonathan is a long-time labor activist and he’s committed to leading the
fight for workers in Portland as an elected official.
That’s why Liz Shuler, President of the AFL-CIO, is hosting this
fundraising event along with other union leaders and progressive leaders,
including Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese.
We’re encouraging our supporters in the DMV area to split a contribution
with Jonathan and Our Revolution. But even if you are unable to donate -
come out, listen to his ideas, and support his campaign in any way you
can.

Jonathan has the most union endorsements of any of the 70+ candidates
vying for seats on the newly restructured Portland City Council. An entire
new government structure means a clean slate—a totally new 12-member City
Council.
This is a chance to think big, do great policy and be a labor laboratory
for the entire country. We all talk about building power from the local
level — this is a huge opportunity to do so.
Jonathan is knocking on every door in the district and meeting voters
every day. Your support will help him reach more voters with his message.
Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated (The maximum donation is
$350 for any individual or organization). Even if you cannot donate - come
out, listen to his ideas, and support his campaign in any way you can.
