John,

I know it’s fun to focus on the big flashy races this November, and don’t get me wrong – keeping control of the Senate and defeating Trump are critical.

But we can never neglect the elected offices specific to our area and communities. I served in Georgia’s General Assembly for over a decade and in those years, even in the minority, I was able to accomplish incredible things with my colleagues.

We prevented Republicans from ramming through their entire far-right agenda. We improved the lives of working class people.

That’s why I encourage you to look up the candidates for your local elected positions here: [link removed]

In particular, 6 states the partisan balance of their state legislative bodies hangs in the balance.

These states also happen to be critical battleground states for the presidential election. Which means if we invest in local races we can build momentum up and down the ballot to secure Democratic victories at every level.

Will you chip in today to One Georgia to show your support for Democrats at every level in key swing states? ([link removed],,,,)
