Folks, when Donald Trump recently endorsed Tim Kaine’s opponent for the U.S. Senate, Hung Cao, Cao received a HUGE burst of momentum.
Virginia Republicans banded together to support him and national Republican donors started funneling money into the Commonwealth. And the scary part is, prior to this fundraising boost, Cao had already raised $2 million—double what his GOP opponents have.
Ahead of the Virginia primary this month, will you split a $10 donation between me and Tim Kaine to help us stop Cao and keep VA blue?
As GOP money pours into VA in support of Cao, I just can’t help but think about his recent comments describing the Staunton News Leader as “podunk.” And then in a virtual town hall, he doubled down, questioning whether it’s “worth his time” to travel to Southwest Virginia to debate his opponents, calling the situation “ridonkulous.”
First of all, “ridonkulous?” Secondly, last time I checked, serving as a United States Senator involves going to every corner of your state and actually talking to folks in person – not just sitting in front of a camera on zoom calls.
Tim, on the other hand, takes the priorities of Virginians seriously—no matter where they live. I think the choice is clear.
Will you split a donation of $10 or more today to give Tim Kaine’s campaign the resources it needs to defeat Cao and keep VA and the Senate blue?
Thank you,
Mark Warner
