"Senate Republicans block bill to protect access to contraception" -NBC News

Last week, Republicans blocked a bill that would enshrine a federal right to contraception for Americans throughout the country.

Why, you might ask? They claim because there’s already a Supreme Court precedent that establishes that. That sounds similar to what they said before Trump stacked the Supreme Court and overturned Roe.

We know that extremists are headed for measures beyond abortion next because we’ve seen it play out in states across the country with lawmakers attacking IVF and contraceptives.

Don’t be mistaken; they’re stopping at nothing to control bodily autonomy and rip rights away from women across the country. Not to mention, if my opponent wins this November, he’ll enthusiastically support a federal abortion ban given his “100% anti-choice” voting record.

I need your support to hold onto this seat and flip the House blue in November. Will you contribute to my re-election campaign to keep me in Congress fighting for reproductive rights?
