Friend,
Oh boy, a new conspiracy’s afoot.
And guess who’s totally buying in? That’s right; the Trump-led MAGA
GOP—the party of stolen elections, space lasers, and sex dungeon pizza
shops. And guess what? This conspiracy theory (like all of the others)
comes with absolutely zero evidence, and is being amplified by the
orange messiah himself.
According to a recent poll
conducted by The Washington
Post, a whopping 80
percent of Republicans believe President Biden had something to do
with Trump’s conviction in the porn star hush money fraud case. In
more blatant terms, 80 percent of Republicans are buying Trump’s
“sham, witch hunt, political persecution” storyline that he’s been
blabbing about nonstop on his failing social media app.
80. Freaking. Percent. Trump isn’t
good at much, but he sure can sell some snake oil. It makes total
sense that the GOP is buying into this, because if you’re able to
convince a group of people who have seen and participated in American
elections for their entire adult lives that an election was stolen,
with ZERO evidence, you can convince those same people of pretty much
anything. And remember. Tens of millions of these people (who have
bought the con) vote in our elections, and hundreds of them are
elected officials at the federal level.
Now we’re going to play Nancy Drew
here and point out a couple of reasons why this conspiracy theory
should've been DOA (and give you some material to forward to your
crazy uncles). First of all, Trump’s guilty. He had an affair with
Stormy Daniels. He made Cohen pay her off. The National
Enquirer suppressed the story. Then Trump lied about it. There’s
a paper trail. The case is rock solid. Even the juror who claimed to
get his news from Truth Social agreed.
Second, this case was brought by
the Manhattan district attorney’s office, not Joe Biden or the Justice
Department. They were completely uninvolved with judge selection, jury
selection, and bringing the case all together. It would be like
blaming President Biden for getting a speeding ticket.
There you have it. Conspiracy
theory debunked in two short paragraphs. But, knowing MAGA, the
majority of whom think January 6th was a “false flag operation,”
they’ll take this theory to the grave. Lucky for us, 57 percent of
Americans don’t believe this nonsense. So, that means at least 57
percent of voters out there could very well cast their ballot for
President Biden come November. Help
us make sure they do >>
