Three Recent IJ Victories Show How Immunity Stands Between Rights And Remedies

In three recent IJ cases, we overcame immunity doctrines, resulting in our clients getting the justice they deserved.
IJ Steps Up to Defend Santa Clara Winery Owners Fighting Excessive Fines
Michael and Kellie Ballard, owners of a historic winery in Santa Clara County, California, are facing more than one hundred thousand dollars in fines because they refuse to evict a long-time employee from a well-maintained trailer on the winery. So, IJ is taking up their case.
New Jersey Doubles Down on Keeping Baby Blood, Parents Vow to Continue Lawsuit
The Garden State keeps a secret database of blood from every baby born in the state. But the officials refused to budge. So, we will fight on.
A Supreme Court’s decision in 1954 to abandon previous constitutional limits on the government’s power to take property from Person A to give it to Person B greenlit the era of urban renewal, which saw over a thousand cities across the country seize and bulldoze entire neighborhoods en masse.
Your tax-deductible contribution helps IJ fight for Americans' rights.
