Maya Angelou said it best: When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. 

And Samuel Alito isn’t just showing us anymore—he’s outright telling us. Caught on a recording last week, he made his position plain, agreeing that our country needs to be returned to a place of “godliness” and that when it comes to the political divide in our democracy, “one side or the other is going to win.”

Time and time again, through word and decision, Justice Alito has proven that he’s a far-right extremist. Enough is enough. Send an email to your legislator, urging them to support Supreme Court reform NOW.

This Thursday, the Supreme Court could hand down decisions that could have a wide sweeping effect on our daily lives and our fundamental freedoms. We should be able to trust that each justice on the Court will hand down a ruling that was impartial and fair. 

But in the world we live in, we have justices like Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, who are more concerned with their own ideologies than our fundamental freedoms. As Alito said, only one side can win, and he’s making damn sure that it’s the MAGA extremist side.

Until Congress uses its power to pass a binding code of ethics for the Court and enacts term limits, we’re stuck with Alito until he either retires or dies. 

How many more of our fundamental freedoms will we have to lose before something changes? 

Send a letter to your legislators and urge them to take action on Supreme Court reform.
