Hi JOHN,
Β
Believe it or not, the House voted to spend money on something thatβll actually do some good for once.
Β
Last week, we passed the 2025 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs (VA), and Related Agencies Appropriations Actβbetter known as the MilCon-VA bill. This oneβs got a lot in it, but one crucial aspect would help veterans who were stupidly exposed to toxic burn pits while serving and sacrificing for our great nation.
Β
Iβll admit Iβm not a big fan of the VA. I keep hearing from our veterans how tough it is to see a dadgum doctor. These amazing folks drive for hours to get to the nearest VA hospital, and even then, the care they get is hit-or-miss. Weβve passed reforms, but if you ask me, the VA is still tangled up in red tape and bureaucracy. Iβd love to do away with it and let veterans see their own doctors, but right now, the VA is what weβre working with.
Β
Unfortunately, there's another challenge we're facing: Biden is threatening to veto the whole bill because he wants to stuff it with woke nonsense about abortion access and climate change.
Β
Bottom line: We need to make sure our veterans get the care they deserve. If youβre with me on this, a small donation will go a long way in my fight for these brave men and women. Every bit helps, and together, we can make a real difference.
Β
Enough of the liberal crud. Like Agent Orange, toxic burn pits have left a mess of health issues that will stick with our veterans for a long timeβand addressing this should be the priority.
Β
veterans make up one percent of our population, but we owe them for 100% of our freedom. The best thing we can do as a nation is to honor them and make sure they get the care they need.
Β
Sincerely,
