The energy building behind this campaign to challenge empire, oligarchy, and genocide is phenomenal. Even as we fight New York's oppressive ballot access laws in court, we emerged in that struggle as a giant among people-powered campaigns, collecting an astounding 42,000 signatures, while all other grassroots campaigns brought in fewer than 4,000 signatures. Meanwhile on the campaign trail, we see the uprising growing at every stop, from overwhelming support at the DC Gaza rally, to breakthrough mainstream media coverage of our anti-genocide rally in Fort Wayne, to an interview with the Palestine TV channel in the West Bank!

Now we must harness this same energy to overcome the two most difficult remaining ballot access hurdles - Illinois and Indiana - so we can truly challenge empire across the country this year.

We've connected with an amazing team of powerhouse community organizers who are already going all out to get the signatures we need! To begin compensating them for this invaluable work, we need to raise $50k today.

Here are some recent highlights from the trail:

In Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, Jill had several campaign events with Green congressional candidate Chibu Osonye, an amazing young organizer who recently accompanied Jill to the pro-Gaza encampment at Washington University in St. Louis where Jill and her campaign team were assaulted and arrested by police.

In DC, Jill electrified the huge crowd with a fiery speech at the “Biden, we are your red line!” demonstration for Gaza that surrounded the White House. The campaign team met up with friends and supporters including renowned journalist Briahna Joy Gray.

In Chicago, Jill was invited to speak at a Palestinian-American wedding with thousands of community members in attendance.

In Fort Wayne, Indiana Jill spoke to a crowd of ceasefire supporters at the local courthouse at a demonstration covered by the local ABC news station and Indiana Public Media. After the speech, dozens of enthusiastic people lined up for photos and words of encouragement, from college students to longtime activists from Veterans for Peace.

The momentum behind this movement continues to grow - now we urgently need the funding to grow with it.

With less than 2 weeks left until the Illinois deadline, every day counts and could make the difference between staying on track to achieve nationwide ballot access - or falling just short. We can't let that happen.
