Hey everyone – hope all is well!
The past couple of weeks, I’ve been home in Sacramento, and I wanted to share just a few of the things I was up to! But before I get into it, can you chip in $20 today? Our EOQ deadline is in just 18 days!
First, I visited Vernon E. Greer Elementary School in Galt to highlight the “Schools as Centers of Wellness” program, an incredible collaboration between the Sacramento County Office of Education and the Sacramento County Department of Health Services. I’m so impressed with Sacramento’s commitment to innovative efforts to address youth mental health in our community.
Then, I was honored to celebrate our winner and finalists of this year’s Congressional Art Competition. Supporting the arts is so important to me, and I am always thrilled to meet young, talented artists and to acknowledge the wonderful art teachers in our region who teach and encourage them every day.
I always love coming home to see just how many exciting things are happening in our district. It brings me the greatest joy to see the results of all I fight for in Washington, D.C. and I cannot wait to continue working on behalf of Sacramento, our schools, our infrastructure, and our vibrant community, but I really need your help to keep us going.
Can you donate $20 or $30 today to ensure I end this quarter strong to keep supporting our district?
I appreciate your hard work and dedication to our community.
