We’ve got an exciting update for you, John.

After receiving over 300 applications (and a lot of difficult deliberation), we’re excited to share that we have chosen our 2024 Care Fellows - a group of 100 caregivers and care recipients from across the country who will come together for 6 months to develop their care leadership skills!

Let me introduce you to the group –

This year’s Fellowship cohort is particularly special, spanning across 5 states. We’re excited to share a little bit about the group:

-Participants span 4 decades 
-71% identify as people of color 
-29% are disabled 
-24% identify as LGTBQ+ 
-28% are caring for veterans 

Our movement is strengthened when it’s made up of all different kinds of people! We are ALL impacted by care - no matter our race, gender, age, and disability status.

Over the last five years, our Fellowship program has graduated over 320 Fellows who have gone on to shine a light on the importance of care via news and documentaries, start their own non-profits, and more. In fact, I myself, was part of the first cohort of Fellows and now I lead the program!

This year’s Fellowship launched just last week, and we’re so excited to watch another group of care advocates evolve and become spokespeople for the movement.
