Oil companies and their GOP allies want you to believe that climate investments come at the expense of our communities. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

The reality is that investments in our planet are investments in our people too. Just look at the victories we've secured for Northern Ohio recently.

We brought home over $61 million for clean manufacturing at Libbey Glass and Kraft Heinz. That won't just improve our air quality; it will also directly support better jobs and safer working conditions.

We delivered $5.4 million to restore Clark and Delaware / Horseshoe Islands on the Maumee River, which will protect our Great Lakes wildlife while also improving water quality for hundreds of thousands of Ohioans.

We're restoring our wetlands, rebuilding our rail infrastructure in Defiance, Bryan, and Sandusky, and investing in the green industries of the future in all of our counties. All of that work is good for our planet and good for working people too.

Friend, the truth is that protecting our planet and rebuilding our communities go hand-in-hand, and we're leading that work every day. It is an honor to have you at my side.
